Exciting Opportunity from the Carnegie Schuyler Library in Pana
The Carnegie Schuyler Library has received a SHARE mini-grant to participate in cloudLibrary. The cloudLibrary app will now be available for our patrons. This is an innovative way to browse, borrow and read popular fiction and non-fiction. This app is available until June 30, 2021. Patrons will need to download the app by visiting
or visit the Apple App Store or Google Play. You will need a valid library card to download the app.
After you install the app select your country, your state, then click on Illinois Heartland Library System as your library. Log in with your library barcode number and pin, which is the last four digits of your barcode number. Patrons can browse, borrow, and read right in the cloudLibrary app.
How does it work? You can download the app on up to 5 devices. The cloudLibrary will sync across all of your devices so you’ll always have quick access to your items.
You can borrow 5 items at one time and place holds on 5 items at a time. An item may be renewed if there is no holds for that item. Items expire automatically when they are due so there are NEVER any late fees. Items are on loan for a three week period. Browse and check out cloudLibrary titles. Use filters within the app to customize what you see. Keeping a “to be read” list is easy with the cloudLibrary. Tap on the Save for Later button in any item’s information to add that title to your Saved list. This list can be accessed at any time in the My Books area. There are over 48,000 items in the collection.
Items can be returned early. Simply tap on the Return button next to each title in the My Books area. Returned items will be available immediately for the next patron.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call the Carnegie Schuyler Library at 217-562-2326 from 12:00 – 6:00 PM on Monday through Friday.
